MEET MYK

You’ve probably seen Myk Watford on just about every cop show on TV. He has conquered the worlds of CSI, NCIS and every other procedural using an acronym. One of his most notable roles was a recurring stint on Law
& Order: SVU, Dick Wolf’s longest running series. You can hear it, right? “Dun, dun!”

Along with his veteran presence on television, Myk has appeared in such feature films as The Kitchen, the Coen Brothers’ No Country For Old Men, Trailer Park of Terror and NY Prison Break opposite Penelope Ann Miller. And, yep, that was Myk as one of New York City’s finest meeting everybody’s favorite webslinger in Spider-Man.

This summer, he appears as the legendary music producer, Rick Hall,  in the highly anticipated major motion picture, Respect, alongside Jennifer Hudson, Marc Maron, Marlon Wayans and Forest Whitaker.

Myk graduated from the University of Utah where he was classically trained in theater. He has appeared in over one hundred theatrical productions, including numerous Broadway and off-Broadway hits such as Take Me Out, Hank Williams: Lost Highway, The Good Negro, and Five
by Tenn. His limelight list goes on.

Hailing from the famous Muscle Shoals area of North Alabama, Myk was destined to become a musician. When he is not on set, you can often find him rockin’ the Hollywood scene (and beyond) with Stumpwaller, his popular swamp-rockabilly revival band.
